As the weather gets colder, there is nothing better than to pair a nice cup of coffee (see our shop) with a good book by the fire.  Here are five of our favorite books that we are reading right now that we love to read with our coffee!

1) Bird by Bird

If you love writing, but frequently have no idea where to start, this book provides an amazing perspective on writing.  Lamott adds great humor to her story, that could be looked at as a memoir more than instruction in writing.

2) Tribe of Mentors

Tim Ferriss's latest book is chock full of great life advice from many leaders in the world.  As a bonus, this book provides great ideas for questions to ask people during interviews, or even in general conversation.

3) Thrive

In this book, Arianna Huffington provides us with some great life advice, illustrated by her own life's examples.  This book will inspire you to disconnect from your devices and reconnect with those around you.

4) Unstoppable: My Life So Far

Maria Sharapova wrote this book, and shared her very rough climb to the top as she became a Wimbledon champion.  The story is as much about her as her father, and a testament to a parent's support for their child.  She also shares her side of the drug testing scandal, in a no-nonsense matter of fact way, without emotion.

5) The Four Noble Truths

Definitely an early morning read, for that first cup of coffee.  This book is dense, but if you are interested in learning more about Buddhist thought, it is a good one.
